In order from up and down in the selected list the columns are displayed from left to right in the ledger. Check ‘User settings’ to activate user defined layout. Uncheck ‘user settings’ to active system default layout.

Extended selection

This function is available in the ledger forms. It will enable selection of transactions based on a range of dates and reference numbers as well as complete portfolio code selections. When an extended selection is activated, the large binocular will be colored red and further detailed queries of transaction are now possible within the extended selection via the regular query function (small binocular or F7/F8). An activated extended selection is deactivated with the Reset button from within the selection form.

To create a new selection, press create and name the selection accordingly.

Activate an extended selection automatically in all ledgers by choosing menu in the Default field.

The default extended selection is activated automatically whenever the ledger is opened.

Ledger - Query only

The purpose with the Ledger - Query Only is to act as a window into the database for users that are allowed to see transactions but are not allowed to alter anything on the transactions. You can also use the extended selection function (described on the next page) to select transactions.

Double click on the reference number or press F9 to view the full deal input screen. This function is valid for all forms of ledger type.

Ledger - Priced request

The ledger is intended to be used by a back office function in the subsidiaries. It will display, in real time, transactions that have been priced by head office. The ledger should also be viewed as an electronic confirmation from head office of the terms and conditions of the transaction. In the ledger there is functionality for subsidiaries to accept and approve the terms and conditions. As soon as the transaction is priced it will disappear from the Ledger requests and appear in real time in the ledger called Priced requests, intended for use by subsidiaries.
