The audit trail function logs all changes in the system. That means all changes on transactions, portfolio codes, registers etc. This function allows you to run reports on these changes.

Audit trail is located in menu Back Office > Audit Trail Analysis.

Changes on a reference number

In this case below we want to display all changes for reference number 3204. Here's how:

  1. Go to Object id and enter %3204%

  2. To be more specific in your selection, select Action type in the action list drop-down to view transactions on a basis of insert, delete or update.

  3. Go to the Audit trail tab and press run or F8.
The system will display a searchable snap shot of the database.

Here you can fine tune your search by pressing F7, and for example write Portfolios on the Object column and the press F8.

Changes on a bank account

The selection below will show the changes made on a bank account

The result shows that the user GJS changed the Receiver SWIFT from nothing to "Hejsan"

Configure reporting columns

To configure the report layout - go to the design tab.

Column design

A standard selection includes columns Date and time, User name, User terminal, Session id, Action, Object, Object id, Column name, Old value, New value

Press Run to create an Audit trail analysis report.
