This is a function for grouping portfolio codes into portfolio structures/groups. Let's say you want see trades made with all Nordic banks, you need to create a portfolio grouping containing all those codes (counterpart codes) for Nordic banks. This group is then available in selection drop-downs throughout the system.
Her's how it works:
- Go to Register > Portfolio Grouping
- Click on Create new or press F6 to create a new group
- Give it a name and then press Tab to move to the Type column
If you look in the lower left corner of the application you can now see a short description of the available choices. CO = Counterpart and EN= Entity etc. - Enter the type and go to the Code column to choose which codes should be in your group.
- Press Save
Top tip!
- Click on the print button to get a complete list of all the portfolios in Excel.
- Portfolio grouping codes are sorted by 'Type' in alphabetical order.
- Codes in Portfolio contents are sorted in alphabetical order, except for Currency portfolios that are sorted in user selected order (change order with up and down arrows).
The Portfolio Group can for example be used in Reports and is shown with an 'pf' after the name.
