How-to: Alter portfolio codes

Created by Erik Åkerlund, Modified on Mon, 20 Feb, 2023 at 2:28 PM by Erik Åkerlund

The purpose with the function Alteration of Portfolio Codes is to enable amendments on a transaction with a wrong portfolio setting. Legal Entity and Counterpart can however not be changed.
First you will search for the transaction in this form and then make the necessary alterations to the portfolio codes. If the altered transaction belongs to a multi record instrument, for example an amortization loan, you can choose to update all transactions on the specific loan.

Here's how it works:

  1. Go to Back Office > Alteration of Portfolio Codes
In this example we will change the bank accounts on an interest rate swap, for all tranches.
  2. Press the binoculars or F6 to start a search either on reference number or instrument name.

In this case the fields "Bank acc 1" and "Bank acc 2" are empty. Enter you desired value and press Save.

  3. CRM will now ask how you want to update this transaction - on single transactions, every tranche or only for the contract itself.
In this case we want every tranche to be updated.
