With this feature you can deactivate codes used in the system. A deactivated code will not appear in any drop-downs in the system. This applies to all sorts of codes, for example Instruments, Counterparts, Currencies, Strategies and so on.
Here's how it works:
- Go to Register > Portfolio Codes > Deactivate Portfolio Codes
Active codes are displayed on the right hand side and deactivated codes are displayed on the left side. Each code is displayed once for each type of register where it exists.
- To deactivate an active code, select a code and click on the Deactivate button. Deactivate all deactivates all selected codes and Activate all activates all selected codes.
The deactivated Portfolio Code will be included in reports if you are running a report with no selection in Portfolio selection, for example running a report with blank in Instrument, the report will include the deactivated Instrument if it is within the date selection.
