With the CRM Scheduler feature you can schedule a report to be emailed to one or several email addresses.
Note
A scheduler service has to be setup in the CRM cloud by CRM staff before any scheduled activities can be added. If you are unsure, please contact help@crm.se
Here's how it works:
- Go to Register > Setup > Scheduler
- Create a new activity by pressing F6 or clicking Create new.
- Enter the name of the activity.
- Selecte type Mail Report from the drop down list.
- In selection name, use the drop down list to choose the report you would like to email. It is also possible to change User and choose a report from that user.
- File path will be filled out for you, but change "MAIL_REPORT" to: \Files\Reports\REPORT_NAME.XXX
(Example: D:\crm\CRMData\CUSTOMERSID\Files\Reports\Todays_payments.xlsx) - In Email address type the email addresses that should receive the report. Separate multiple addresses with comma.
- Press Save.
- Go to tab Time trigger
- Enter a name for the activity
- Select the activity you entered in tab Activity from the drop down list.
- Select Trigger cycle (Daily, Weekly, Monthly etc.) and choose if you would like to skip Saturdays and Sundays by checking "Skip holidays"
- In trigger time enter the first date and time when the first report should be sent.
In tab Result you can monitor if the report has been sent in green or red if it was not send due to errors.
