In this article we will explain how you specify default bank accounts that are valid for different portfolio code combinations used in the deal input forms. Used for example to default bank accounts by Counterpart.
Here's how it works:
- When entering deals, a bank account can automatically be selected based on Legal Entity and Currency.
- If your using Pay/Advice, you can setup default accounts for Counterparts as well.
Setup default bank accounts
To set a bank account as default for an Entity:
- Go to Register > Setup > Default bank accounts.
- For each bank account, you should select legal entity and currency in order for the default to work
Default Counterpart accounts are used when creating Payment files in Pay/Advice
Instrument type may trigger different payment instructions for different type of instruments. If instrument type is blank the account is valid for all other instrument types.
